Yesterday, our Classical Mechanics class visited one of the biggest physics labs in the Philippines -- the Enchanted Kingdom! Although EK is just located couple of miles away from Manila and is very accessible, I never really got the chance to visit it and so that trip was my first visit to the park. Incidentally, I was thinking of a subject for my first blog here for weeks already. Then I just thought of making my first visit to EK as the material for my first blog! First for first huh, how about that? hehe
So, what brought graduate students to EK? Aren't we too well-informed that amusement parks practically rely on physics laws to make the
amusement park experience truly amusing? Or aren't we too old (relatively though, haha) to enjoy such experience?
But what the heck! Don't we deserve some time to enjoy good things that physics brings other than the headaches that we get from studying it? Haha. Anyways, I hope I will have the time to give next time my personal assessment of the different rides available at EK. I don't have much time today since we are already preparing for our final examinations next week.
So let me just share some more of our pictures.
